What to Expect
Arrival Time
10 minutes before the service to find parking and visit with folks before finding your seat. 8:50 am for the 9:00 am service and 10:50 am for the 11:00 am service.
Parking
There is visitor parking along Wynona and White Rock. On Sundays, street parking and the Lamar middle school parking lot are also available.
What to Wear
Come as you are! We have no dress code. We recommend that people at higher risk for COVID-19 wear a mask, but they are not required.
Worship Style
Some would describe the worship style as casually traditional. We are blessed to have a diverse music ministry and we have a broad range of choirs, instruments and bands play for us. Our 9 am and 11 am services are the same so you won't miss anything when you come to one or the other!
Teaching Style
We have a relational teaching style. We know that your faith development is shaped by how you relate to the text, to God and to others. In small groups and small classes, we connect with each other in conversation and study.

Children and Family Ministries
We have a children's time in every service with an age-appropriate message and then children are dismissed to Sunday school. Classroom numbers can be found in your bulletin. Childcare is also available. We also have children and family ministry events throughout the semester.
Our Classes and Small Groups
Here at Saint John's, our goal is to engage with people where they are, and provide opportunities to grow in relationship with God. Whether that is taking a class to learn what it means to be a disciple, or about racial justice, or joining a group that bikes for fun and for fundraising.
Youth
In our youth ministry, we welcome and value everyone that comes in. We strive to create a community where everyone feels this welcoming love and support, and we hope that you will join us in celebrating one another.
Serve With Us
At Saint John's one of our goals is to witness to our faith through service and social action initiatives in our community and beyond. We do this by...
1. Addressing the lack of affordable, safe, and secure housing in our community.
2. Addressing issues of poverty and food insecurity in our community.
3. Responding to issues of injustice.
4. Addressing the needs of immigrants and refugees.
5. Raising awareness about and support for needed services to respond to crises and other needs in our community and beyond.
