Plant of the Week: Gulf Muhly

Greetings, SJUMC! I am proud to belong to the family of native Texas grasses. I am one tough dude that can grow to about 3 feet tall almost anywhere with low to medium water use. I am handsome at any time of year but my glory is most evident in the fall when I display a stunning deep pink, feathery hue. Everyone likes me---well, everyone except for deer who turn up their noses at me. We grasses provide food and shelter God’s other creatures, too. Stop by and visit me in the SJUMC Pollinator Garden!
