A Banner Year

A Banner Year

A Banner Year

A “banner year” means a particularly excellent year -- set apart or distinguished. This year at Saint John’s we certainly had a banner year. We are seeing more and more faces return to worship and more and more new faces join us. The collage here shows the faces of all who have joined Saint John’s in 2023. Thanks be to God! We rejoice in jubilee!

At Christmas Eve services on Sunday, we sang “Silent Night, Holy Night,” as the room filled with candlelight. "Holy" is another word that means set apart - set apart entirely for God. When we gather at Saint John’s for worship, study, mission, and prayer, we certainly feel God’s time set apart. Thank you, Saint John’s, for your warmth, your creativity, and your dedication to God and each other. We give thanks for our new members and for the members already in the fold who welcomed them.

With God’s leading, we know 2024 can be a banner year as well. If you have questions about how to join the church onsite or as an online member, please reach out to Rebecca Witte, Director of Connections, or .

Happy New Year!
