Katie McKenna Foley
Director of Communications
Katie McKenna Foley grew up in Bellevue, Washington and received a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and French from Western Washington University. After moving to Austin in 2000, she continued her education by earning a Master of Education degree from Texas State University and taught Kindergarten in Del Valle ISD. In 2007, she came on board as the Pre-K teacher at Grace Garden, and was thrilled to be named Director in 2015. In January, 2024, Katie transitioned to a new role of Director of Communications. She enjoys travel, walking, current events, and spending time with her 17-year-old son, Will, and big, goofy dog, Hazel.
