WEDDINGS

We at Saint John's Methodist believe that the service of marriage is a holy covenant between God and the couple. A decision to be married at Saint John's UMC indicates that you are in accord with this and will make thorough preparation for the wedding service and your life together. Saint John's strives to make this task of preparation as easy as possible.

The first contact is with the wedding coordinator who can be reached by calling the church office. The coordinator then verifies availability of the church, the ministerial staff, and musicians. A meeting is scheduled with the coordinator. Initial deposit fees are collected at that time.

The couple will also schedule a consultation with the clergy to plan the order of the ceremony.

The coordinator remains available to the couple throughout the planning, the rehearsal, and the ceremony to provide service with regard to the church's role.
