Saint John's United Methodist Church

How Do We Change the World?

PRAYER MINISTRY

"My house shall be called a house of prayer.” Matthew 21:13

Saint John's Methodist is a house of prayer. All that we do is grounded in prayer. We pray alone, in small groups, and as a community of faith. We pray on Sundays, Mondays, and throughout the week. We pray for each other, our church, our community, and our world. We study and practice prayer together.

If you want us to pray for you, please contact Pat Thomas, (512) 452-5737, ext. 236.

If you want to pray with us, we welcome you.

PRAYER CHAIN
Saint John's Methodist offers the opportunity for pray-ers to pray separately on behalf of the church. Prayer needs are sent to the prayer group by email and/or by telephone. The praying is done individually..

GROUP HEALING PRAYER
A healing prayer group meets Sunday afternoons at 4:30 p.m. in our chapel. The group studies healing prayer together for half an hour, and then prays together on behalf of the church.

PRAYER CARD MINISTRY
Our prayer card ministers send greeting cards to those for whom we pray.

Pat Thomas of the Saint John’s staff would love to direct you to a prayer opportunity. For information or questions about our prayer ministries, please contact Pat Thomas, (512) 452-5737, ext. 236.
